cinnamon + salt hand wash ritual

hey besties!

I wanted to share with you the salt + cinnamon hand wash ritual I love to do whenever I would like to bring in abundance. this doesn't have to be specifically money, but whatever it is you are trying to bring into your life - you do want to make sure you set the intention prior to you beginning this ritual. 

remember, all rituals require a clean body + home. you cannot manifest things in an unclean environment or body. this means prior to any ritual done, you should have showered + have a clean home. 

items needed: 

• rock salt or coarse salt - Avoid fine table salt for this ritual.
• cinnamon powder or nutmeg powder if you do not have cinnamon. 

firstly, you want to place your hands under some warm water + say the following

“ God, Spirit Guides , The Divine and Ancestors I ask that you cut and clear all obstacles from my path. I ask that you wash all blocks from these palms and welcome  abundance through and to these hands. May I never have less and always more. May I be fruitful enough to bless myself and those around me from this moment on until eternity. "

once you have said this chant, you want to keep your hands wet and head into the salt portion of the ritual. you will want to now, pour a tsp of salt into your palms, and then less than a tsp of cinnamon into your hands. now remember, the amount you use is totally up to you and you may find that you want more or less - depending on how many times you are doing this ritual within the month. 

think of this as a scrub, start with your right hand and then with your left. When rubbing your hands together, move this in the motion towards you and not away. Remember, the goal here is to bring abundance in, not cast it away.  continue to say

“May I never have less and always more. May I be fruitful enough to bless myself and those around me this month”

you want to then rub your hands together, in the direction towards you, and not away. remember, we’re trying to bring abundance in and not out of our hands.

do this a total or 8 times. if you miss count or don’t feel called to the number 8, do any amount of times that is an even number.

once you’re done, you should now be washing your hands off 

repeat the same chant from the beginning as your washing this off

“God, Spirit Guides and Ancestors I ask that you cut and clear all obstacles from my path. I ask that you wash all blocks from these palms and welcome Abundance through and to these hands. May I never have less and always more. May I be fruitful enough to bless myself and those around me this month.”

after this DO NOT DRY YOUR HANDS. let them air dry. be intentional with your thoughts during the drying phase. once your hands have completely dried, it’s a great time to journal about for the month.
